Lunchlecture by Witteveen+Bos

Want to know why you, as a mechanical engineer, have a key role in the large infrastructure projects tackled by the engineering firm Witteveen+Bos? Come to the lunch lecture on September 23rd.
We will tell about mechanical engineering in tunneling projects: modelling, calculation, and design of ventilation system. Furthermore we will provide insight into possibilities for students - Literally from internship to first job: Thijs will talk about his internship he did last year and his first steps as an engineer at Witteveen+Bos this year. His research topic was: a CFD study on smoke backlayering in tunnels and critical ventilation speeds during tunnel fires.

All in all, an hour packed with engineering simulations, career opportunities and plenty of technical challenges.
