▶ Where do I find the Newtonroom?
Enter the Horst building (De Horst 2, 7522 LW Enschede), then go down the stairs opposite the elevators at the main entrance. You’ll see our room on that level.
▶ Why should I become a member?
Members enjoy free coffee, tea and fresh fruit in the Newtonroom, plus access to the Newtonstore’s affordable snacks and multi-screen workstations. We organize social activities (bowling, pool nights, weekly drinks), study support (exam library, project nights, TA-assisted study sessions) and career events (weekly lunch lectures with free lunch, company excursions).
▶ How do I (un)subscribe?
Sign up during Kick-In or online.
Bachelor ME at UT: €50 for your entire study (including master).
Bachelor ME at VU Amsterdam: €30 for your bachelor only.
Master ME & SET at UT: €10 per year.
Secondary members (other UT students): €5 per year (UT student number required).
To unsubscribe, email our secretary.

▶ How do I turn on direct debit?
Come to the Newtonroom to fill out a SEPA form, or email our treasurer with any questions.

▶ How do I know what activities are coming up, and which are fun for me?
Check our events page, or drop by the Newtonroom and view the poster board above the coffee machines. You can also ask any board member for recommendations!
▶ I have trouble signing up to an activity
Email the board or pop into the Newtonroom; we’ll help you register.
▶ How do I join a committee?
Attend the committee market or stop by the Newtonroom and fill in a sign-up form. For questions, just ask the board in the Newtonroom!
▶ What does Newton do for VU students?
We have a dedicated VU activity committee, Lydia Weldt, which organizes events and socials specifically for VU students in Amsterdam.

▶ What does Newton offer for career orientation?
We host weekly lunch lectures (except during exam weeks and breaks) where companies present their work. We also organize excursions and workshops check our event page for upcoming career activities.
