To keep up with the increasing demands of our customers, we have our own Research &
Development (R&D) department which continuously drives innovation and optimization within
our products. During our lunch lecture, we will dive deeper into two R&D case studies. We will talk
about optimising the controller design and tuning relevant system parameters of the Active
Vibration Isolation System (AVIS) to enhance the performance of our motion systems, with a
particular focus on minimizing jitter during standstill. The second topic is about achieving high
cleanliness requirements of critical products for vacuum applications, by ensuring a clean
production process. Key element here is qualification of the cleanliness, which is carried out
using Residual Gas Analysis (RGA).
