Aeronamic
During my internship at Aeronamic in Almelo, I worked with the Research and Development engineering team. My primary responsibilities included developing a model using Simulink/Simscape to simulate a Vapor Compression Cycle (VCC) system, utilizing the existing compressor technology as a base. This model was a valuable tool for efficiently evaluating the required specifications for various configurations, offering a streamlined approach to assessing system performance.
Working in a team of mechanical and electrical engineers, I participated in regular meetings dedicated to discussing progress and outlining action points for the upcoming week. The casual work environment made me feel welcome and facilitated easy communication when seeking information or assistance from team members. It was clear that everyone was open to helping each other. This created an environment where knowledge-sharing and collaboration were encouraged.
Being immersed in such an environment enhanced my technical skills and provided valuable insights into the intricacies of real-world engineering projects. The experience at Aeronamic was about completing tasks and contributing to a team-driven approach to tackling challenges and achieving innovative solutions.
