First Years Project
Two weeks ago the first years had their projectmarkt of the first module. Sadly due to enhanced corona regulations this had to be organised online for the second year in a row. Luckily still a lot of First Years showed up, to show there great (and sometimes less great ) prototypes. Then it was up to the board to test the prototypes whilst considering the most important criteria (since the amount of steal is always important during your first project). This year the projects were a lot bigger due to this years assignments and the representatives of the board therefore had a though time deciding which group would win. Eventually there could only be one winner and this year that is group number 3. This group made a crusher with big steel gears, where you could lose whole body parts. Safety wasn’t taken into consideration making it and there was a whole lot of steel that was there for no logical reason.
We want to congratulate them with their prize of a liquid apple pie and the first years challenge cup.
