The spring is here!
Good weather, happy faces, and the final module of this academic year are approaching. At the moment, we are one week away from exam week. Some students already lock themselves up in the university library, while others enjoy the taste of ice-cold beer in the sun. We noticed that many students were done with the overcast gray winter, but in the next module, everything will change. In the first week of April, the temperature will already rise to 20 degrees! Perhaps it's time for a Weizen ice cream drink?
Recap of the previous month
What a month it has been, from enjoying the view of the breathtaking Pioneering Spirit to competing in a competitive game of karting. Both activities were completely filled and well received. Another activity that did really well was the BrouwCie pub quiz. In only one week, 50 tickets were sold, and the homemade beers were well received. The personal favorite of the board was the Belgische Witte. It was full of aromas, but still a light, easy-to-drink beer. Great for the coming outdoor drinks! The most important activity of all was the GMA. This GMA was about the new policy of the board and the Multi-Year plan. After some good discussion, all documents were approved, and the board has now started working on the large list of points they have to address. Some of these are activities in the near future, so here is a small overview of what is coming!
What's on the planning for the next module?
When everyone is done with their exams, it is time for new activities. We will kick off this module with an excursion to Voortman Steel Group. Voortman already gave a lunch lecture this month, but now it is time for a real-life experience in their production lines. Later in the module, we have the parents' day! Our parents' day committee has been busy setting up this day full of activities. And as Newton always does, we will end the day with a drink. This will not be the only drink, because we have some special drinks already planned! Two of which are the Lustrum theme and the large activity announcement. We heard rumors of free kegs at these activities, so make sure to be there! We cannot put all the activities in this article, but there will be many more to attend, so stay tuned!
