ETC Internship
I performed my internship at ETC. Here they specialize in producing state of the art centrifuges that are able to enrich uranium for nuclear reactors. During my internship, I worked on both theoretical and experimental research into a specific material. It was a great balance between hands-on lab work and diving into the underlying theory, which really helped me connect what I’d learned in class to real-world applications. One of the highlights of my internship was the excellent support I received from my supervisors. They were always approachable and encouraged me to ask questions whenever I needed help. But the internship wasn’t just about the research. I also got to experience the professional world in other ways. I was invited to attend trade fairs, and I joined some of the activities organized by the staff association, which was a fun way to meet colleagues outside of work and feel like part of the team.
