Enerparc AG

During my internship at Enerparc AG, I had the opportunity to work on the integration of gridforming inverters (GFIs) in solar power plants. My assignment involved conducting market research on GFIs, comparing them with grid-following inverters, and evaluating their potential to enhance grid stability in Germany. I also explored various business models and technical requirements for implementing GFIs, providing valuable insights for Enerparc’s future projects.

One of the most exciting parts of my internship was working on a pilot project for night-time power compensation using battery storage systems. I was involved in the technical project management, from the initial setup to the milestone trend analysis, ensuring the project’s success. This hands-on experience allowed me to apply my theoretical knowledge to real-world engineering problems and develop practical skills in project management and technical documentation.

Personally, this internship was a transformative experience. I gained a deeper understanding of renewable energy technologies and their impact on grid stability. Working with a dynamic team at Enerparc, I learned the importance of collaboration and innovation in driving sustainable energy solutions. This experience has not only enhanced my technical expertise but also inspired me to pursue a career in the renewable energy sector.
