TME BV Noise Mitigation Suspension System

Over the course of the past three months, I have been actively involved in the advancement of the suspension system for the Noise Mitigation System (NMS). This particular system is designed to mitigate the harmful underwater noise generated during the piling of wind turbine foundations (monopiles) through the implementation of AdBm resonator panels. The green panels visible in the accompanying photos (source: Van Oord) represent these AdBm resonator panels.

To this end, I generate concepts, validate my concepts with analytical and with FEM simulations and make technical drawings to make the design production ready. TME BV is actively looking ahead, with the objective of delivering larger systems in the future, intended for broader monopiles, which will cater to greater sea depths. Throughout my internship, I have acquired knowledge and insights into the intricacies and challenges of the offshore industry
