Numerical analysis to predict product and process performance

Various physical phenomena influence the performance, efficiency and lifespan of products and processes. The impact of these phenomena is difficult to predict because they are interrelated, but can be predicted rather accurately using numerical analysis. Jacco Hospers, specialist in numerical analysis and simulations, has a PhD at the UT and works as a Fluid Engineer at AKOS. During this guest lecture he will discuss the application of CFD and FEM calculations for various complex issues. Furthermore, colleague Sietse Koenjer will give a short introduction about AKOS and working for an engineering company.
