Movares provides smart advice and designs in the areas of infrastructure, mobility, digital transformation, energy transition, circular building and climate adaptation. We do this for large and small clients such as Rijkswaterstaat, ProRail, provinces, municipalities, water boards, and grid managers.
During the lecture we will briefly talk about Movares as a company, focusing on our history and our expert areas. Then we will present an issue from an actual project. It concerns the design of an overhead line in relation to its surroundings. We will zoom in on which preconditions apply, which mechanical global solutions have been devised and which calculation rules are involved in the design of an overhead line.
