Newton Dies Natalis
Yesterday, W.S.G. Isaac Newton celebrated its 56th birthday. We decorated the Newton room with green balloons, lights and flags and played Birthday songs the whole day through. During 10.30 and during the break, free cake was handed out to all the Newton members. The cakes had pictures of Newton, the Horst and the Newton room on them, and tasted very good! The magic button was also present again; this means that the vending machine has a magic button and you get either regular apple juice, or a special kind of apple juice that may get you a little tipsy ;).
In the afternoon we had the first drink again in Diepzat in 356 days! It was really crowded and a lot of fun. Because of the Dies, the first keg was for free and the beers were green. The drink felt like the old days again. Lots of drinking, good music, good vibes and good people :) As a board, we were also allowed to start the Newton song, and it felt amazing to be able to scream this together again with all Newton members in Diepzat.
